Immediate opening: uPVC window fitter (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Hamilton County, Illinois. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. The role involves fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails. What we are looking for: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
