Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Lipscomb County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Lipscomb County, Texas. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Day-to-day duties: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
