Production welder wanted in Columbia County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a production welder in Columbia County, Florida. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances 4+ years on the tools preferred.
