What we are looking for: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade The role involves record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans.
