Join our team: we are hiring a MIG welder in Allamakee County, Iowa. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings We offer $190 per day plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
