Great opportunity: sand plant operator (North Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Alamance County, North Carolina. Your main tasks: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
