Occupational health and safety officer — Columbiana County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Columbiana County, Ohio. The role involves stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height. What we are looking for: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
