Now hiring: we are hiring a laundry presser in Summers County, West Virginia. The job is at a garment factory. Day to day you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; give each garment a final press before packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Full-time with occasional weekends.
