Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Warren County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules The role involves: • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
