Join our team: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Alpine County, California. The job is in a gas distribution network. The role involves: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections Requirements: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
