The role involves: • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts Requirements: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Current Driver CPC qualification card Rotating shifts.
