Garment machinist wanted in Henry County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment machinist in Henry County, Ohio. You will work at a busy garment factory. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory You will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
