Immediate opening: we are hiring a quality control inspector in City of Winchester, Virginia. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems Day-to-day duties: • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
