TIG welder • Cotton County, Oklahoma

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a TIG welder in Cotton County, Oklahoma. Day-to-day duties: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Performance bonus on top of base pay.
