Ideal candidate: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts Day to day you will braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution.
