Gtaw welder wanted in Levy County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Levy County, Florida. The job is on an industrial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
