Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Van Buren County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion The role involves: • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
