We are recruiting: we are hiring a cement mason in Kanawha County, West Virginia. The job is on a road and bridge project. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet On a typical shift you will lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
