Stainless steel welder — Muskogee County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Muskogee County, Oklahoma. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces On a typical shift you will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
