Join our team: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Grant County, South Dakota. The job is at a busy machine shop. You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm On a typical shift you will measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; load and index turning tools in the turret. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
