Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofing technician in Spalding County, Georgia. You will work at a sheet metal roofing workshop. Ideal candidate: • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • A good head for heights and steady balance On the job you will handle: • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
