Pipe TIG welder • Butler County, Ohio

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Butler County, Ohio. The job is on a structural steel site. The role involves: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Full-time with occasional weekends.
