Join our team: we are hiring a horticulturist in West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a landscaping company. On the job you will handle: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn What we are looking for: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
