Rigging foreman • Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. On the job you will handle: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
