Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment presser in Butler County, Missouri. You will work at a textile finishing unit. On a typical shift you will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; give each garment a final press before packing. Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Full-time with occasional weekends.
