LV electrician — Metropolitan Borough of Wirral

We are recruiting: we are hiring a LV electrician in Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, England. Day-to-day duties: • Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams • Crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands • Check earth continuity and earth pit resistance • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop • Measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter You should have: • Sound knowledge of IS wiring and earthing standards • Normal colour vision for cable identification • ITI in electrical trade or wireman certificate 5+ years on the tools preferred. £2,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
