Urgent requirement: slinger signaller (Iowa)

Now hiring: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Adair County, Iowa. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams You will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
