Ladle pourer — Colusa County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Colusa County, California. You will be based on the moulding line. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Your main tasks: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
