Slinger signaller • Alamance County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Alamance County, North Carolina. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Rotating shifts.
