Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc turner in North Lincolnshire, England. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Your main tasks: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
