Ironing operator • Mackinac County, Michigan

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an ironing operator in Mackinac County, Michigan. The job is in a garment export house. Your main tasks: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Part-time with flexible hours. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
