Aluminium tig welder wanted in Macon County

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Macon County, Alabama. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Day to day you will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
