Shuttering and concrete hand — Anderson County

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Anderson County, Kansas. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. The role involves strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Meals and transport allowance provided.
