The role involves take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height.
