Earthmoving plant operator — Dickenson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Dickenson County, Virginia. You will work at a landfill site. What we are looking for: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance You will load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; check for underground cables and services before digging; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
