Now hiring: we are hiring a crane rigger in Miner County, South Dakota. You will work at a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Full-time with occasional weekends.
