Render and set plasterer • Newberry County, South Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Newberry County, South Carolina. The job is on a busy domestic building site. Day-to-day duties: • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish 6+ years on the tools preferred.
