RCC mason — Beaufort County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a RCC mason in Beaufort County, North Carolina. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days Ideal candidate: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Full-time, day shift. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
