Paint and prep technician — Wells County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Wells County, Indiana. You should have: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing On the job you will handle: • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio Full-time, day shift.
