MIG/MAG welder — Butler County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Butler County, Alabama. Day to day you will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Willing to work shifts and overtime Performance bonus on top of base pay.
