Argon welder wanted in Butler County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Butler County, Iowa. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety On the job you will handle: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
