Fabricator-welder — Drew County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Drew County, Arkansas. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces The role involves: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
