Panel welder wanted in Bergen County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Bergen County, New Jersey. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently The role involves: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience.
