Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. You will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
