Refrigeration and AC technician • Randolph County, Alabama

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC technician in Randolph County, Alabama. You will be based at a busy AC installation company. Requirements: • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests • Can read electrical and piping schematics On the job you will handle: • Clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum 3+ years on the tools preferred.
