Container truck driver • Sullivan County, Tennessee

Immediate opening: we are hiring a container truck driver in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
