Reinforcement fitter • Columbia County, Arkansas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Columbia County, Arkansas. You will work at a precast concrete yard. On the job you will handle: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
