Glazing assistant • Daviess County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Daviess County, Kentucky. The job is at a double glazing firm. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift The role involves: • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
