Immediate opening: tailor machinist (Tennessee)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Tipton County, Tennessee. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams You will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension.
