We are recruiting: we are hiring a glazing fabricator in DeKalb County, Illinois. The job is at a doors and windows manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools — measuring tape, spirit level, cordless drill • Familiar with ACP cladding and structural glazing • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines Your main tasks: • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site • Assemble window and door frames from extruded sections • Fabricate and fit aluminium composite panel (ACP) cladding • Fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware • Drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience.
